Pamberi Steel Orchestra is not a steelband as the others.
The Steeldrum is tuned gong made from the unstoppered end and part of the wall of a metal shipping drum. The end surface is hammered concave, and several areas are outlined by acoustically important chiseled grooves.
These improvisations emphasize the extraordinary virtuosity of its musicians, among whom generosity and good mood uncontrollably tips up the public in Trinidad's carnival ambience
